Mama Wardrobe: Style Inspiration - Anna Heinrich

One of my absolute favourite feeds on Instagram is Anna Heinrich aka Mrs Tim Robards {the original Australian Bachelor) and when I saw the GORGEOUS Anna pop up on Nikki's {of Styling You} instagram feed I immediately wanted a elbow-length sleeved loose fitting white dress {and a killer bod, gorgeous smile and wardrobe-to-die-for} ...Although my budget doesn't quite extend to Anna's Saba dress, I've found {and purchased via SurfStitch} a pretty good alternative which should be waiting in my letterbox when I get home today.

I've actually done a good part of my Christmas shopping on SurfStitch and am blown away by their quick postage and generous discounts. An extra 25% off sale items promo convinced me to add this baby to my shopping cart as a little bit of a Merry Christmas to me. The leather trim panama hat is also en route to me {from Seed} and I would LOVE the Najo La Dulce earrings after seeing them on a Silver Shop employee last Christmas and falling in love with them.

Mama Uniform 4.0

Today's outfit was all about showcasing my fabulous new animal print cap from Seed. I also didn't really do anything today (the gym, washing, baby tending and supermarketing don't really count) so this actually could be defined as 'effort' ... yea, pretty lame definition of effort I know. I doubled up on the animal print today as I rocked a new Adidas animal print top with matching crop to the gym this morning. I love me some animal print.

Oh, and my smile was as wide as a slice of watermelon when I saw Nikki from Styling You included little ol me and my Trainee Mama blog in her weekly #everydaystyle wrap-up post on Friday.

Trainee Mama: Peta is based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast – my old home town. She’s a new mum and she may claim not to be a fashion or beauty blogger but I do love her fun sense of style. A style she’s had to re-work as she adapts to being a mum.

I promptly texted Miss Katy Potaty and here is the transcript for your reading pleasure ...

TM: Um excuse me but did you know I'm famous?
TM: Nikki featured me today!
KP: Whoa! Send me a screen shot!
KP: You are FAMOUS, babe! I can't believe it, my BFF is a celebrity blogger.

Okay, so that is untrue - I am certainly in no way, famous ... But yes, that SMS convo did actually happen.

Mama Uniform 3.0

I bought these pants at the Seed outlet last weekend (who had an extra 40% off) without trying them on or having any idea how to wear them. I very rarely try things on and sometimes it pays off and other times I'm left with an item that is not wearable and sometimes can't be returned. I am getting better in my old age realising the sensibility in spending an extra couple of minutes in a shop to ensure that the piece does look good and will fit into my already bursting wardrobe.
